Design of Arbitrary Waveform Generator Based on Virtual Instrument Technology

Abstract-A design of arbitrary waveform generator using NI PXI -5412 module (an arbitrary waveform generator) was provided in this paper, base d on virtual instrument technology and LabVIEW. The generator can produce standa rd function waveforms, such as sine, triangle, square wave with adjustable ampli tude and frequency. It can also produce arbitrary waveforms of different data fi les importing by Analog Waveform Generator Software. A heart electric waveform w as set as an example of arbitrary waveform generation. It has practical value, b ecause the standard functions and heart electric waveforms generated by the gene rator can be used in laboratories.
